Dr. Holly Jafarzade graduated from University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, the same dental school as Dr. Alexander. She then went on to complete two additional years of graduate training to specialize in orthodontics from the University of Rochester – Eastman Institute for Oral Health. Holly is highly trained and has received numerous awards along the way. She joined the Alexander Orthodontics team in August of 2017 and has been greatly liked and appreciated by all for her warmth and professionalism as she takes great care of our patients.
Valuable Addition to Alexander Orthodontics
Being at the very top of her game is very important to Dr. Jafarzade, and as such, she too has become a board-certified orthodontist like Dr. Alexander. This extra certification is not easily achieved, but both doctors are very committed to staying well educated and have welcomed the challenge that board certification presents. This should help reassure our patients that they can depend on the finest quality of treatment to go along with our desire to provide outstanding customer friendly care while in our practice.
In every way, Dr. Jafarzade has been, and continues to be, an overachiever. We are extremely pleased that Holly has joined our practice and you can rest assured she has the finest training and skills to go along with her joyful personality.
You will find that Holly loves orthodontics and her patients. She is very personable and adds her big warm smile and sparkling personality to our team. She knew she wanted to be an orthodontist since the first time she met her own orthodontist at nine years old. Her family instilled in her a strong work ethic that has led her to want to be the best she can be, and excel in her classes through college, dental school, and now as a specialist in orthodontics.
Personal Life
Just before joining the practice, Holly married Soha Jafarzade, an attorney at law in Glens Falls. Together they enjoy playing sports, cards, and going on adventures! Certainly, this will be a new adventure for Holly as part of our super team of doctors, staff, patients, and supporting area dentists. Orthodontics is a team profession as it takes a team to create a beautiful smile that will last a lifetime.
